PEPR Batteries day

The “Priority Research Equipments and Program” (PEPR) on batteries celebrated its second anniversary during the “PEPR-Batteries Day,” held at the CNRS headquarters in Paris on January 22, 2025, with around 170 participants.

The delegated PEPR leaders emphasized the importance of innovation in making storage technologies competitive, which is crucial for the energy transition.
Next, V. Pétat provided an update on the national battery strategy, followed by F. Ravel, who discussed the role of PEPR in the research landscape.
The day continued with the presentation of the 13 PEPR projects.
A poster session was organized after the buffet, allowing PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to present their initial results.
The event concluded with a roundtable discussion on “AI for Batteries.”
