Syntheses and Modifications of Electrode Materials
A single synthesis method is not sufficient to provide a relevant range of materials to enhance the power performance of electrodes for the devices envisioned in the HIPOHYBAT project. Thanks to the synergy of the approaches considered—surface modifications, defect introduction, and composite development—the targeted performance for high-power sodium-ion batteries and hybrid batteries is within reach. These strategies were presented at the PEPR Batteries Day in Grenoble in January 2026.
